SEC: VMRO-DPMNE's Gjorgjievski leads in Skopje mayoral race after almost 60 percent of votes counted

Skopje, 2 November 2025 (MIA) - State Election Commission (SEC) data show that VMRO-DPMNE Skopje mayor candidate Orce Gjorgjievski has received 53,171 votes (62.65%) while Levica's Amar Mecinovikj got 27,294 (32.16%) votes with 59.93 percent of votes counted in Sunday's runoff.

Turnout for the Skopje mayoral race stands at nearly 30 percent, down from the 49 percent in the first round a fortnight ago.
