SEC: VMRO-DPMNE's Gjorgjievski leads in Skopje mayoral race after 80 percent of votes counted

Skopje, 2 November 2025 (MIA) - State Election Commission (SEC) data show that VMRO-DPMNE Skopje mayor candidate Orce Gjorgjievski has received 75,368 votes (59.41%) while Levica's Amar Mecinovikj got 44,149 (34.80%) votes with 80.85 percent of votes counted in Sunday's runoff.

Turnout for the Skopje mayoral race stands at 33.08 percent, down from the 49 percent in the first round a fortnight ago.
