SEC: VMRO-DPMNE's Gjorgjievski leading in Skopje mayor vote

  • According to the State Election Commission (SEC) preliminary results, VMRO-DPMNE Skopje mayor candidate Orce Gjorgjievski is leading with 41.04% of votes, followed by Bashkim Bakiu (Vlen) with 17.05%, Skender Rexhepi (NAI) - 15.56%, Amar Mecinovikj (Levica) - 10.47% and Kaja Shukova (SDSM) - 9.42%.

Skopje, 19 October 2025 (MIA) - According to the State Election Commission (SEC) preliminary results, VMRO-DPMNE Skopje mayor candidate Orce Gjorgjievski is leading with 41.04% of votes, followed by Bashkim Bakiu (Vlen) with 17.05%, Skender Rexhepi (NAI) - 15.56%, Amar Mecinovikj (Levica) - 10.47% and Kaja Shukova (SDSM) - 9.42%.

The VMRO-DPMNE mayor candidates in the Skopje municipalies of Aerodrom, Gazi Baba, Gjorche Petrov, Karposh and Kisela Voda are also in the lead.

SDSM is leading in Centar, Vlen in Chair, while NAI in Saraj and Butel.
