Skopje, 19 October 2025 (MIA) - The State Election Commission (SEC) has started to release the preliminary results from the first round of Sunday's local elections.

SEC has processed 30.68 percent of the votes, providing data from 1,278 out of 3,474 polling stations.

The VMRO-DPMNE mayor candidates are currently leading in 53 municipalities, SDSM and Vlen in 8 each, National Alliance for Integration (NAI) in 7, and the Democratic Party of Turks (DPT) in 1.
