SEC: VMRO-DPMNE leading in 52 municipalities, SDSM in 9, Vlen in 8 and NAI in 5
Skopje, 19 October 2025 (MIA) - The State Election Commission (SEC) has processed 75.37 percent of the votes, providing data from 2,755 out of 3,474 polling stations in the first round of Sunday's local elections.
The VMRO-DPMNE mayor candidates are currently leading in 52 municipalities, SDSM in 9, Vlen in 8 and the National Alliance for Integration (NAI) in 5.
ZNAM, Union of Roma and Democratic Party of Turks (DPT) are leading in one municipality each, while independent mayor candidates are on top in two others.
