Skopje, 17 October 2021 (MIA) – SDSM candidate running for Skopje mayor and incumbent mayor, Petre Shilegov is in a lead ahead of Danela Arsovska, the independent candidate running for mayor of the capital, backed by the opposition VMRO-DPMNE, show incoming data posted by the State Election Commission (SEC) on its website. Until 10:40 pm, data are processed in SEC’s system from the municipalities of Saraj, Centar, Karposh, Chair, Kisela Voda and Gazi Baba showing that Shilegov has won 37.59% of votes with 34.15% won by Arsovska.
