SEC receives 17 MP candidate lists for parliamentary elections
- As the submission deadline expired on Wednesday midnight, the State Election Commission (SEC) has received 17 MP candidate lists for the May 8 parliamentary elections.

Skopje, 3 April 2024 (MIA) - As the submission deadline expired on Wednesday midnight, the State Election Commission (SEC) has received 17 MP candidate lists for the May 8 parliamentary elections.
SEC said the following parties and coalitions submitted MP candidate lists:
1. SDSM (Coalition for European Future) - Election District (ED) 1, ED2, ED3, ED4, ED5, ED6
2. VMRO-DPMNE (Coalition Your Macedonia) - ED1, ED2, ED3, ED4, ED5, ED6
3 ZNAM - ED1, ED2, ED3, ED4, ED5, ED6
4. Rodina - ED1, ED2, ED3, ED4, ED5, ED6
5. Avaja - ED3, ED4, ED5, ED6
6. Workers' Party - ED1, ED2, ED3, ED4, ED5, ED6
7. Tvoja - ED1, ED2, ED3, ED4
8. GROM - ED1, ED2, ED3, ED4, ED5, ED6
9. Makedonska Era Treta Suverenost - ED1, ED2, ED3, ED4, ED5, ED6
10. DUI (Coalition European Front) - ED1, ED2, ED3, ED4, ED5, ED6
11. Demokrati - ED1, ED2, ED3, ED4, ED5, ED6
12. Edinstvena Makedonija - ED1, ED2, ED3, ED4, ED5, ED6
13. Group of voters Gjyla Celiku - ED6
14. VLEN Coalition - ED1, ED2, ED3, ED4, ED5, ED6
15. Levica - ED1, ED2, ED3, ED4, ED5, ED6
16. Desna - ED1, ED2, ED3, ED4, ED5, ED6
17. Nova Alternativa - ED1, ED2, ED3, ED4
Upon receiving the candidate lists, the SEC is set to determine if they were submitted within the legal deadline and if they are composed in line with the Electoral Code provisions. SEC inspects if MP candidates meet the requirements stipulated in the Constitution and Article 7 of the Electoral Code by checking data in registers and records of competent institutions, reads the press release.
