Skopje, 19 October 2025 (MIA) - The State Election Commission (SEC) has started to release the preliminary results from the first round of Sunday's local elections.

SEC has processed nearly 30 percent of the votes, providing data from 1,191 out of 3,474 polling stations.

The VMRO-DPMNE mayor candidates are leading in 52 municipalities, Vlen in 9, SDSM in 7, National Alliance for Integration (NAI) in 6, and the Democratic Party of Turks in 1.

There are still no results available for the City of Skopje.
