SEC: 14 ODIHR observers to start monitoring of local elections on Friday

Skopje, 4 September 2025 (MIA) - As of tomorrow, 14 observers from the ODIHR mission will monitor the 2025 local elections, after members of the State Election Commission (SEC) approved their applications for accreditation at Thursday's session.

SEC president Boris Kondarko said the first official meeting with the ODIHR observation mission will take place tomorrow.

"They will be in continued communication with SEC and attend all our open sessions. In this regard, we are approving their applications for accreditation of 14 observers," said Kondarko.
