Skopje, 3 June 2024 (MIA) - SDSM MP Oliver Spasovski told reporters Monday that he cannot say whether the party's MPs will support the new legal amendments over the reorganization of ministries until they see them.
“On whether we will provide our support for the bill that they are referring to as administration reform – the bill will first need to be officially submitted to Parliament. We can’t say whether we will support them or not without having seen the bill. We need to see the official text and reach a conclusion on the basis of that,” Spasovski said.
Asked which parliamentary committees they expect to hold, Spasovski stressed that the law specifies which committees are held by the parties in the opposition. In terms of when he expects the process to conclude, the SDSM MP said this depends on the Speaker of Parliament.
“The dynamics of when this entire process will be concluded depends on the Speaker of Parliament. For us, it is important that the process goes through consultations in which we will reach complete agreement between the political entities, so that Parliament continues it work in a normal manner,” Spasovski said.
