Sara Renar to perform at PMG Recordings Festival

Skopje, 7 October 2023 (MIA) - The 13th PMG Recordings Festival, set to take place on Saturday as well as on October 14, brings together top local and foreign artists with an electro, pop, rock and jazz music background.
Croatian singer and songwriter Sara Renar, praised as one of the best and bravest new generation Balkan singers, will perform on Saturday. Her music style can be described as experimental/indie/pop mixing subtle melodies with electronic and theatrical elements. She has won multiple regional awards for her music and live performances, and played close to a thousand gigs. Her most recent performances are described as an explosive electro-punk party.
Local artists to perform on Saturday include PMG Kolektiv Orkestar and Sethstat.
Aleksandar Veliki (Aleksandar Gavrovski) will wrap up Saturday's concert performances as part of the program.
DJ sets after midnight include Mirko Popov, Ilina Angelovska and Violeta Kachakova.
The festival continues on October 14 at the Youth Cultural Center (MKC) with a live performance by Canadian musician and multi-instrumentalist Mathew Jonson, one of the most distinctive voices in electronic dance music, as well as local artists Young Dadi, 5R+Domchuga, Goran Kan, Andreja Salpe and Vanski.
PMG Recordings Festival is an annual event organized by the label of the same name, which has released over 300 albums. The festival is supported by the Culture Ministry.
