Kiev, 15 April 2026 (dpa/MIA) - An 8-year-old boy has been killed by a Russian drone attack on the central Ukrainian city of Cherkasy, Governor Ihor Taburets reported on Tuesday.

A further 14 people were injured in the attack, and four high-rise buildings were damaged, according to the report posted on Telegram.

Earlier, five people were killed and 27 were wounded in a Russian missile attack on the industrial city of Dnipro, local authorities reported.

Ukraine has been warding off a full-scale Russian invasion since February 2022.
