Martyr Evgenija
Holy Evgenija’s roots were from a noble Roman family. Her father Philip was head of Alecandria and of the entire Egypt. She secretly left from her home and dressed as a man she joined a monastery. Later, some woman slandered her that she was forcing her to have illegal intercourse. She was brought before her father Philip where Evgenija revealed her secret. Her parents, seeing her, started to believe in Christ themselves. Evgenija was declared for martyr in the year 262.

Three Kings Day or Epiphany
Today is the celebration in the name of the Three Kings: Gashpar, Melhior and Baltazar, who came to bow to Jesus in Bethlehem. The birth of Christ was announced by a star that led the three kings from the east to him. These three kings were the first who learned that he is the Savior of all people.
