Skopje, 12 July 2024 (MIA) - REK Bitola is out of service due to an outage of a 110 kV busbar of MEPSO, the subsidiary of the mining-energy complex (REK) Bitola within AD ESM said in a press release. 

"Around 15:45 there was a power outage, after which Bloc 1 of REK Bitola was disconnected from the network. The start-up operations of Bloc 3, which were in progress, have also been interrupted, after the completion of which this block was also to be put into operation," reads the press release. 

Experts from REK Bitola are working on overcoming the situation and putting the complex into operation.
