Negotino, 18 July 2024 (MIA) - A regional crisis HQ over the wildfires in the country has been set up, chaired by Kavadarci Mayor Mitko Janchev.

The session was attended by Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski, Defense Minister Vlado Misajlovski, Crisis Management Center (CMC) director Stojanche Angelov, firefighting unit commanders and mayors from municipalities affected by wildfires.

"All of us, members of the army and police, aircraft coming from our friendly countries and our own capacities will take part in the operations. Let me extend my respect to our firefighters for their sacrifice and struggle in countering the wildfires," Kisela Voda Mayor Orce Ggorgjievski wrote in a Facebook post.
