Skopje, 29 June 2023 (MIA) – The Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) of North Macedonia and the OSCE Mission to Skopje signed Thursday a Memorandum of Understanding on the implementation of joint project activities in the 2023-2025 period.

According to the PPO, the goal of the Memorandum signed by Public Prosecutor Ljubomir Joveski and OSCE Ambassador Kilian Wahl, is to create a legal framework for future cooperation in key areas.

“The cooperation between the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the OSCE Mission to Skopje will be realized in the coming period on the basis of annual programs with concrete project activities within the frameworks of the project ‘Strengthening the Rule of Law and Human Rights in North Macedonia III’,” said the PPO in the press release.

The Office added that at the signing of the Memorandum, Public Prosecutor Joveski informed the Ambassador on several current issues related to the work of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
