Bratislava, 3 June 2026 (MIA) - During her visit to Bratislava on Wednesday, President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova will visit the National Centre for Culture and Education, which is hosting the group exhibition “From Glagolitic to Light: A Visual Ode to Saints Cyril and Methodius.”

The exhibition features works by Macedonian artists Ana Mitevska, Angel Korunovski, Laze Tripkov and Aleksandra Kostadinovska. The curator of the exhibition is Kiril Penushliski.

Through painting, photography and modern visual interpretations, the artists explore the connection between historical memory and contemporary artistic expression, engaging with the spiritual and cultural heritage of Saints Cyril and Methodius, the Glagolitic script and the tradition of Slavic literacy.

According to the organisers, the exhibition presents a contemporary interpretation of cultural heritage, presenting it not as a static historical artifact, but as a living spiritual and visual structure that continues to engage with the contemporary context.

The exhibition opened on May 27 and will remain on display until June 16, with the support of the Macedonian Embassy in Bratislava and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
