President Siljanovska-Davkova to attend World Governments Summit in Dubai

Skopje, 2 February 2026 (MIA) – President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova has begun Monday a working visit to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), where she will attend the World Governments Summit.

According to her office, Siljanovska-Davkova will be the keynote speaker at the session dedicated to demographic changes. She will speak about the country’s perspective on demographic shifts and their implications for national development.

“Siljanovska-Davkova will participate in the Global Government Regulatory and Justice Forum as well as the World Laureates Summit, held for the first time ahead of the World Governments Summit. The events will include Nobel Prize winners and leading scientists in discussions on policy-making. Siljanovska-Davkova is also expected to hold several bilateral meetings with summit participants. The event’s main theme is ‘Shaping Future Governments,’” her office said.

The World Governments Summit will bring together governments, international organizations, thought leaders, and private sector leaders from around the globe to foster international cooperation and identify innovative solutions for future challenges, ultimately inspiring and empowering the next generation of governments. The summit explores the latest trends and best practices in governance, technology, sustainable development and other key areas aimed at improving people’s lives worldwide.

Over 35 heads of state and government, more than 150 government delegations, and nearly 6,000 participants are scheduled to attend this year’s summit.

During her working visit to the UAE, President Siljanovska-Davkova will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timcho Mucunski.
