President Siljanovska-Davkova meets Slovenian envoy for Western Balkans Frangeš, Azerbaijani Ambassador Khasiyev

Skopje, 3 July 2024 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova met Wednesday with Slovenia’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Anžej Frangeš, as well as the Ambassador of Azerbaijan, Kamil Khasiyev.
At the meeting with Frangeš, Siljanovska-Davkova voiced gratitude for Slovenia’s strong and open support for the country on its Euro-integration path and assessed that by appointing a Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Slovenia is affirming its strong commitment to the process of integrating the region within the European Union.
The President voiced her hope that Slovenian assistance in the fulfillment of the Macedonian strategic commitments will continue.
At the meeting with Ambassador Khasiyev, Siljanovska-Davkova spoke about enhancing and promoting bilateral relations in various fields that are of mutual interests to both countries.
President Siljanovska-Davkova expressed the country’s interest in intensifying economic cooperation between the two countries especially in the field of energy.
