Skopje, 23 July 20224 (MIA) – President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova met Tuesday with the European Investment Bank (EIB) country representative, Bjorn Gabriel.

During the meeting, as reported by Siljanovska-Davkova’s office, the discussion focused on the overall activities of the EIB in our country.

President Siljanovska-Davkova noted that the opening of an EIB office in Skopje in 2022 demonstrates the commitment to enhancing the advisory and financial support of the group, which has so far invested over €1 billion in the economic and social development of Macedonian society.

"Siljanovska-Davkova expressed gratitude for the long-standing support of the EIB through financing small and medium enterprises, as well as transport, energy, and infrastructure projects. She expressed confidence that the group would continue to be a reliable partner in the further development of the country, including the process of accession to the European Union," reads the press release.
