Skopje, 27 June 2024 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova met Thursday with the Ambassador of Vietnam, Do Hoang Long, and agreed that multilateral cooperation has been good while highlighting the need to enhance bilateral relations.

Siljanovska Davkova and Long agreed that economy is one of the priority areas, expressing interest for its enhancement through specific activities and projects, such as the establishment of a joint committee, as well as seminars hosted by the Vietnamese Embassy to promote trade investments between the two countries, the President's Office said in a press release.

Interlocutors also discussed enlargement of cooperation in the fields of culture, tourism, education and science, and the countries' ministries of foreign affairs.

They also expect multilateral cooperation and mutual support in international organizations to continue, especially within the UN and the International Organization of La Francophonie, reads the press release.
