President Pendarovski to open exhibit in honor of 30th independence anniversary
Skopje, 7 September 2021 (MIA) – In honor of the country's 30th independence anniversary, President Stevo Pendarovski will open at his office on Tuesday an art exhibit featuring authors and works that depict the vitality and autochthony of historic collective existence and activity.
Works by Dimitar Pandilov Avramovski, Nikola Martinoski, Lazar Lichenoski, Ljubomir Belogaski, Dimitar Kondovski, Boro Mitrikjeski, Petar Mazev, Gligor Chemerski, Dragutin Avramovski-Gute, Risto Kalchevski, Ana Temkova, Rodoljub Anastasov and Omer Kaleshi will be showcased at the exhibit.
According to the President's Office, a summary of 143 influential artists from the past 30 years will also be presented at the event and their works will be digitally displayed.
Moreover, students from the Faculty of Fine Arts will create during the event a mural, which will be donated to charity, while actress and composer Dolores Popovikj is set to give a performance.
The exhibit is backed by the National Gallery of the Republic of North Macedonia. dk/mm
