Skopje, 6 June 2023 (MIA) - President Stevo Pendarovski received Tuesday the credentials of the new Ambassador of Angola to North Macedonia, based in Budapest, José Filipe.

President Pendarovski expressed assurance that Ambassador Filipe would contribute to finding new forms of enriching the cooperation between the two countries, his Office said in a press release.

"Let me highlight North Macedonia's readiness to enhance cooperation with the Republic of Angola. In the year when we mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties, we are accentuating our will to enrich the legislative framework in bilateral relations and our interest to enhance economic cooperation," said Pendarovski.

Ambassador Filipe conveyed Angola's commitment for cooperation with North Macedonia in various fields of mutual interest, based on respect, solidarity and friendship, reads the press release.
