Skopje, 13 May 2022 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski held a working meeting with representatives of the civil sector in order the MKD2030 Development Framework, initiated by the President, to be finalized, said his office. Noting the need for a joint platform that will represent a long-term vision of the development and future of the country, President Pendarovski said that MKD2030 aims to be a platform of national consensus around the priorities in which we should invest and where we should focus our resources, with a focus on the future, aiming for progress and a better life for the citizens. President Pendarovski thanked the attendees for accepting his invitation to contribute to the finalization of this strategic document and finding quality, sustainable solutions for the development and future of North Macedonia. Today’s working meeting, said the press release, is part of the final consultations with experts from this country and abroad in the process of making the strategic document. Working meetings with representatives from the business sector, economy and finance experts, scholars, civil and international organizations and renowned professionals from various areas have been held so far. The MKD2030 framework will officially be promoted by the middle of this year, and it will be submitted to the government as a basis for the National Development Strategy of 2022-2042. dk/ba/
