Skopje, 31 August 2022 (MIA) - President Stevo Pendarovski received Wednesday in a farewell meeting Head of the OSCE Mission in North Macedonia, Ambassador Clemens Koja, expressing gratitude for the support and activities of the Mission, as well as the Ambassador's engagement in the past period. Interlocutors exchanged opinions on current developments in the country, course of the European integration processes in North Macedonia, as well as activities of the OSCE Mission, the President's Office said in a press release. In this regard, it was pointed out that OSCE has a significant role in supporting Macedonian institutions, in building democratic capacities and fulfilling the reform agenda in all vital areas, such as promotion of human rights and anti-discrimination, judiciary, media freedom, strengthening security and monitoring the electoral process. President Pendarovski expressed his willingness to continue and advance the overall cooperation with OSCE in the following period and welcomed the efforts of the Mission, which this year marks 30 years of its presence in North Macedonia as the oldest field mission, reads the press release.
