President at Paris Peace Forum: Discussions to contribute to solving pressing global challenges

Skopje, 29 October 2025 (MIA) — President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova on a visit to France to participate in the 8th Paris Peace Forum expects the talks to inspire solutions to current global issues, she said Wednesday in a social media post.

"It is an honor to be part of the Paris Peace Forum opening, which this year is being held under the theme 'New Coalitions for Peace, People and the Planet.' I expect fruitful discussions that will contribute to solving the most pressing global challenges: peace and security, climate change, digital transformation, social cohesion," she wrote on her Facebook page.

Previously, an official press release said the president would speak at a panel titled "The Importance of Regional Cooperation in the Balkans for the Future Generations," discussing how deeper regional cooperation can create concrete opportunities for young people through joint investments in education, mobility, innovation and social inclusion.

Panelists will also discuss how youth engagement can spur democratic renewal and integration in the European Union.

President Siljanovska Davkova will also attend a dinner hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.
