Polish president warns of more fallout from war in Ukraine

Polish president warns of more fallout from war in Ukraine
Poland should expect more fallout from Russia's war on neighbouring Ukraine, Polish President Andrzej Duda warns following this week's deadly missile strike near the Ukrainian border. "Unfortunately we have to be prepared in a sense for accidents to happen again on our border as a consequence of the war," Duda said in the eastern Polish city of Rzeszów. He said Poland would do everything possible to make sure this did not happen, however it was impossible to protect the country against an incident such as this week's missile strike. Military experts had told him that no missile defence system was capable of intercepting such a projectile over Poland, as there was not enough time, Duda said.
