Skopje, 6 December 2023 (MIA) — Police have detained a Polish national who was transporting a large quantity of Rinasek medications without any documentation on their origin and transport, the Ministry of Interior said in a report.

The citizen with the initials L.V.P. (59) was apprehended on Tuesday at 4:25 pm near Lake Treska, the report says.

He was found to be transporting the decongestant drugs in a Mercedes passenger vehicle with Polish license plates and had no documentation regulating his stay in the country or the origin of the medications. 

The appropriate charges will be filed, the report adds. mr/
