Police say bomb threats in Skopje schools false
Skopje, 4 November 2022 (MIA) – Bomb threats sent by email to four Skopje schools on Friday were determined to be false following police checks, the Ministry of Interior said. “Immediately after the report was received, measures were taken by police officers to safely evacuate the schools. Following anti-terror checks, it was determined to be false which,” the Ministry of Interior said in a press release. Around 2pm Friday, the Skopje Police received a report that four Skopje schools have received bomb threats. The high schools in question are “Orce Nikolov”, “Nikola Karev”, “Zdravko Cvetkovski” and “Josip Broz Tito”, the Ministry of Interior told MIA. On Wednesday, the Ministry of Interior received reports of bomb threats by nine Skopje schools, which following anti-terror checks were determined to be false.
