Skopje, 6 May 2023 (MIA) - Police officers found late Friday migrants from Syria and Iraq in a vehicle at the A1 motorway near Gevgelija, said the Ministry of Interior.

A vehicle with Strumica register plates did not stop at the police signals but was soon intercepted, and police officers found 10 migrants from Syria and one from Iraq, who have been transferred to the reception-transit center in Gevgelija.

Investigation in the case is underway, said the MoI.
