Skopje, 15 February 2024 (MIA) - Caretaker Prime Minister Talat Xhaferi said Thursday he did not feel the need to comment decisions of political parties on candidates for the upcoming presidential elections.

"I do not feel the need to comment on decisions of political parties, and therefore any comment on my part is unnecessary," PM Xhaferi told reporters when quizzed about the presidential candidacy of Arben Taravari.

Asked if DUI would have its own presidential candidate, the caretaker PM said journalists should address the question to the party.

"I am Prime Minister and represent the Government, not DUI," said Xhaferi.
