Skopje, 3 November 2022 (MIA) - Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski was welcomed Thursday in Berlin by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz alongside Western Balkans leaders and top EU and UK government officials, who are attending the official opening of the Berlin Process Summit. The 1st Western Balkans Summit was also held in Berlin in 2014. This year's forum aims at intensifying cooperation and regional connectivity in the Western Balkans, said the government in a press release. Western Balkan leaders and the high officials from the EU, the United Kingdom and the European Commission will discuss regional cooperation and common regional markets, energy stability and transformation as well as the Berlin Process' perspectives and strategic issues.
