PM Kovachevski to participate in Fourth Council of Europe Summit in Iceland

Skopje, 15 May 2023 (MIA) – Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski will participate in the fourth Summit of the Council of Europe in Reykjavík, Iceland on May 16-17, 2023, said the Government in a press release Monday.
The Summit will be attended by Heads of State and Government from the Council of Europe member states. As part of the Summit, on May 16, PM Kovachevski will participate in a roundtable discussion on the models for safeguarding democracy in testing times, alongside the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, as well as the prime ministers of Georgia, Norway, Italy and the presidents and foreign ministers of several European countries.
On May 17, PM Kovachevski will address the General Debate of the Summit, on the topic “United for Europe”.
During his stay in Reykjavík, the Prime Minister is expected to hold meetings and talks with several European leaders.
The delegation led by PM Kovachevski will also include Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European affairs, Bojan Marichikj.
