PM Kovachevski to attend Prespa Forum for Dialogue in Ohrid

Skopje, 15 June 2022 (MIA) – Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski is to take part at the June 15-17 Prespa Forum for Dialogue in Ohrid.
According to the government's press release, Prime Minister Kovachevski will hold a number of meetings during the Forum, including with the United States Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs, Gabriel Escobar, the EU's Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues, Miroslav Lajčák and the UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo.
PM Kovachevski is set to deliver keynote address at the session on “65 years after the Treaty of Rome: is Europe fully economically reconstructed and integrated?” on June 17.
The panel session will include addresses by Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic, Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti, Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) Majlinda Bregu and Matteo Bonomi, economics expert of the International Affairs Institute in Rome.
The Forum, which is being held from June 16-18, is expected to gather several presidents, prime ministers, foreign ministers, as well as representatives of think tanks that will discuss the future of the Western Balkans.
