PM claims historic investments in culture sector

Skopje, 11 September 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Thursday there are historic investments in the culture sector, highlighting the construction of the Strumica Theatre and the Skopje-based Universal Hall, as well as the rehabilitation of houses of culture across the country.
PM Mickoski said the Strumica Theatre will be soon completed and put into use, while adding that Skopje citizens will like the "modern" look of the Universal Hall.
"As in all other areas, the investments in the culture sector are truly historic. This includes the Strumica Theatre that will finally be complete and put into use. Regarding the Universal Hall, I believe that Skopje citizens will like the solution that is quite modern. In addition, houses of culture are rehabilitated across Macedonia," Mickoski told reporters.
According to him, there is a lot of work ahead, promising honesty and commitment, "while leaving intrigues and speculation to those who are not capable of anything," said Mickoski.
