Athens, 21 July 2023 (MIA) – Defence Minister Slavjanka Petrovska held a phone conversation with Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias, expressing North Macedonia's readiness to assist Greece in dealing with the wildfires, MIA's Athens correspondent reports.  

"In a phone conversation with my Greek counterpart, Nikos Dendias, I expressed North Macedonia's readiness to assist in dealing with the raging wildfires that have broken out in Greece, our neighbor and ally. We agreed that as neighbors, but above all as friendly and allied countries, it is very important to help each other," Minister Petrovska posted on Facebook. 

Dendias posted on Twitter that he had a telephone conversation with Petrovska, in which she has informed him on North Macedonia's readiness to provide assistance to Greece in countering the devastating fires.
