Petkov expects North Macedonia to appoint ambassador to Bulgaria soon
Skopje, 18 January 2022 (MIA) – Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov expects North Macedonia to appoint an ambassador to Bulgaria soon, as he told Bulgarian reporters on the country’s delegation visit to Skopje after meeting with North Macedonia’s President Stevo Pendarovski. Petkov said he hoped it would happen in the next 60 days, MIA’s Sofia correspondent reports. Pendarovski has told Petkov that he won’t delay the appointment as soon as he receives a proposal for an ambassador of North Macedonia to Bulgaria. Petkov has noted that the profile of North Macedonia’s future ambassador will be business-oriented and pragmatic.
