Skopje, 26 December 2021 (MIA) – People of all ages donning Santa Claus costumes ran Sunday in downtown Skopje as part of the annual two-kilometer Santa Race, held after a year-long hiatus due to the Covid pandemic. Mimomir Alesovski finished the race first. He was also the winner in 2019. “My motivation to take part in the race was to make my loved ones happy,” he said adding the event is a nice way to raise the festive mood. Children with their parents and pets also took part in the race. The race was organized by Prv do Vrv association for sports and recreation, sponsored by Coca Cola and the City of Skopje.
