Pentagon: Two Islamic State suicide bombers and gunmen in attack

Washington, 26 August 2021 (dpa/MIA) - At least two suicide bombers blew themselves up in the terrorist attack at Kabul airport, according to the US Defence Department.
After the detonations, a number of fighters from the Islamic State terror militia opened fire on civilians and soldiers, US General Kenneth McKenzie, who leads US Central Command Centcom, said in a video link-up with journalists at the Pentagon on Thursday.
