Skopje, 20 January 2023 (MIA) – European perspectives of both countries are directed at building a strong and stable region, said President Stevo Pendarovski at a meeting with Foreign Minister and Vice-Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković on Friday.

Pendarovski and Turković reaffirmed the good bilateral ties and expressed readiness for further deepening of cooperation in all fields of mutual interest, especially in the economic sector, the President’s Office said in a press release.

Interlocutors exchanged opinions on the countries’ European integration process, the European Union’s role in the region from a geopolitical aspect, while highlighting the importance of implementing key reforms.

President Pendarovski reaffirmed North Macedonia’s support to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s European aspirations and voiced readiness on sharing experiences regarding the NATO integration process.

In addition, Pendarovski and Turković exchanged information on the region’s challenges with regards to political, economic and security developments, reads the press release.
