Patient treated in Greece returns, four patients expected to return from Spain on Wednesday evening

Skopje, 26 March 2025 (MIA) - A 22-year-old who was receiving treatment in Athens after being injured in the fire at the nightclub in Kochani returned to the country on Wednesday. Four other patients treated in Spain are also expected to return on Wednesday evening.
Health Minister Arben Taravari and Foreign Minister Timcho Mucunski welcomed the patient at the Skopje International Airport. Taravari said he hopes the patient will be discharged in 24 hours after completing all toxicology tests.
The Foreign Minister said patients treated abroad would continue to return to the country on Thursday.
“We are continuing with regular communication with the health authorities in the countries where these patients are being treated. Our diplomatic and consular offices are in constant communication with the families as well,” Mucunski stressed in a statement to the media.
