Parliament to elect deputy ministers

Skopje, 23 July 2024 (MIA) - The Parliament is set to hold its 11th session on Tuesday with a vote on deputy ministers in the Government on the agenda, which would complete the new cabinet's line-up. The session is scheduled at 11 am, and the agenda also includes a bill amending the Law on Health Care in first reading, which is to abolish the position of economic directors in public health institutions and hospitals, as well as verification of the mandate of a lawmaker.  

The Prime Minister submitted to the Parliament the proposals for deputy ministers last week. 

Elfet Ismaili is proposed as deputy minister at the Ministry of Defence, Astrit Iseini is put forward as deputy minister at the Ministry of Interior, Alen Dereban as deputy minister at the Ministry of Justice, Nezhdet Mustafa as deputy minister at the Ministry for Community Relations, Zoran Dimitrovski as deputy minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Viktorija Trajkov as deputy minister at the Ministry of European Affairs, Nikolche Jankulovski as deputy minister at the Ministry of Finance, Marjan Risteski as deputy minister at the Ministry of Economy and Labor, Miroslav Labudovikj as deputy minister at the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources, as well as Flakron Bexheti as deputy minister at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy. 

The Government also proposes Jovica Andonovski as deputy minister at the Ministry of Health, Lulzim Aliu is proposed as deputy minister at the Ministry of Education and Science, Gjoko Velkovski is put forward as deputy minister at the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth, Erxhan Selimi as deputy minister at the Ministry of Local Self-Government, Sedat Sulejmani as deputy minister at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Radoslav Nastasijevikj Vardzhiski as deputy minister at the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Laze Jakjimoski as deputy minister at the Ministry of Public Administration, Kaltrina Zekoli Shaqiri as deputy ministre at the Ministry of Transport, Ane Lashkoska as deputy minister at the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, and Safije Sadiki Shaini as deputy minister at the Ministry of Sports.
