Skopje, 13 June 2024 (MIA) - The Parliament endorsed Thursday the draft-decisions on the number of vice-speakers and the establishment of standing working bodies.

The Parliament will have five vice-speakers after 84 lawmakers voted for the decision on the number of vice-speakers.

The establishment of the Parliament's committees - on constitutional affairs; legislation; defense and security; political system and community relations; foreign policy and foreign trade; European affairs; election and appointment issues; inquiry committee on protection of the civil rights and liberties; supervision of the National Security Agency and Intelligence Agency; supervision over implementation of the measures for interception of communications; finances and budget; economic affairs; labor and energy policy; agriculture, forestry and water economy; transport, digital transformation, environment and physical planning; education, science and sport; culture and tourism; health; social policy, demography and youth; local self-government; equal opportunities; and Rules of Procedures and mandate-immunity issues - was supported by 91 MPs.
