Skopje, 18 June 2025 (MIA) - The Parliament on Wednesday approved reallocation of funds among budget users, providing Mden 2 million for conceptualizing and construction of a memorial for the victims in the Kochani fire, Mden 600 million for infrastructure and capital projects for the development of municipalities, and Mden 242.3 million for payments to social security sytems based on refund of contributions.

The decision to reallocate funds between central government budget users and between funds for 2025 was passed with 68 votes in favour, four votes against and no abstentions, having previously received support from the Parliamentary Finances and Budget Committee and the Legislative Committee.
Prior to the vote, the MPs took two separate one-hour breaks, at the request of Levica MP Sashko Janhcev and MP Arbana Pasholi, deputy coordinator of the European Front's parliamentary group. Janchev requested the break because the Parliament Secretary General had not yet responded to the request of Levica MP Jovana Mojsoska for information on the amount of travel and rent expenses paid to some MPs. Pasholi, on the other hand, stated that the session had been scheduled late, which is why she requested a one-hour break for the MPs to familiarize themselves with the items on the agenda.
