Skopje, 27 November 2023 (MIA) – Three people attacked a security worker at a factory producing cannabis for medical purposes in the village of Chegrane in Gostivar, after which they proceeded to lock up the worker, and steal 41 bags of marijuana weighing 552,85 kilograms.

The Interior Ministry said the theft was reported before midnight on Sunday. It said the police is working to clear up the case.

Earlier in the year, on October 4, an emergency control and inspection was carried out at the factory, which identified irregularities in its work. Consequently, charges were filed against the factory and its owner, and a procedure was initiated to revoke the factory’s license.
