Skopje, 12 June 2025 (MIA) - The phone line that the Government has opened for the injured in the Kochani nightclub fire has received calls from 109 persons, who presented their requests and proposals, said Government Spokeswoman Marija Miteva on Thursday.

Spokeswoman Miteva told a press conference that most of the requests were related to short-term health needs for the patients, including the issue of patients' travel for checkups in Skopje or the need for availability of various creams or bandages in the Kochani hospital.

"This is not short-term support but a continued process. The Government is making efforts to ensure the best care for all patients," said Miteva.

Regarding the Ponikva resort, which is set to be repurposed as a rehabilitation center for the injured, the Spokeswoman said it would be ready for use by the end of the week.
