Osmani: Urgent need for negotiations aimed to bring back peace
Skopje, 18 November 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia is condemning the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which represents a threat to the peace and international order, based on international law, said Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani in his address at the Francophone ministerial conference in Tunisia’s Djerba on Friday.
“North Macedonia strongly condemns the violation of democracy, acts of terrorism, aggression and all forms of breaches of human rights and principles of the Charter of the International Organization of La Francophonie and the United Nations Charter,” FM Osmani told counterparts.
He added that promotion of peace and human rights are North Macedonia’s top priority, especially due to the fact that it will soon hold the OSCE Chairmanship, namely in 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
