Skopje, 29 November 2023 (MIA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is hosting Wednesday the Parallel Civil Society Conference which is set to mark the end of North Macedonia’s OSCE Chairpersonship.

Foreign Minister and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Bujar Osmani, will address the conference at 6pm, at the closing session dedicated to the Declaration which represents an official document and a roadmap for further cooperation between the OSCE and civil society organizations, with concrete commitments and guidelines for their implementation.

Apart from Minister Osmani, the conference will also be addressed by the Secretary General of the OSCE, Helga Maria Schmid; OSCE/ODIHR Director Matteo Mecacci; OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Teresa Ribeiro; OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, Kairat Abdrakhmanov; and President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE, Margareta Cederfelt.
