Skopje, 13 December 2021 (MIA) – Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani met with Gabriel Escobar, United States Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs and Western Balkans Special Representative, at the sidelines of a Western Balkans ministerial in London on Monday. “Gratitude to the U.S. for its strong support for the start of the European Union accession negotiations. We remain committed to the further strengthening of our strategic partnership and joint efforts for freedom, security and democratic prosperity in the region,” said FM Osmani in a Facebook post. Last, week, Escobar paid an official visit to Skopje and expressed strong support to North Macedonia’s swift Euro-integration, noting that the United States is working with its European partners on ensuring this very soon.
