Skopje, 9 May 2024 (MIA) - OSCE/ODHIR observers at a press conference on Thursday at 3 pm will present preliminary findings and conclusions after monitoring the second round of the presidential elections and the parliamentary elections on May 8.

Jillian Stirk, who heads the ODIHR Election Observation Mission, said on Wednesday that conclusions will be announced once they receive the results from their observers deployed across the country.

The ODIHR Election Observation Mission had more than 300 observers deployed at polling stations across the country to monitor the process of the presidential runoff and parliamentary elections.

Stirk said that together with her team they have been in Skopje since the 20th of March, and they also have long-term observers who have been based around the country in nine different locations following all aspects of the preparations for these elections.
